We are getting ready for Easter and taking a look at different people who were with Jesus. Last week we talked about "Rotten Eggs," looking at Judas. As one of Jesus' close friends, Judas betrayed Jesus by turning Him over to the people who were trying to kill Him. Even then, Jesus loved Judas and would have forgiven if he asked.

This past Sunday, we learned about a "Broken egg" - Peter. Peter loved Jesus, and yet denied knowing him three times because he was afraid and confused. Then we read how Jesus not only forgave Peter, but restored him and gave him a very special job to do. Only Jesus has the power to put broken people back together.

This Sunday we celebrate the Resurrection! Invite someone to come along with you to church so they can hear the Good News that Jesus lives!
