The month of March is dedicated to raising money for missions through BGMC (Boys and Girls Missionary Challenge). We are so excited to get involved and do our part to tell others all around the world about Jesus! Last Sunday, we brainstormed ideas for raising money. We had many great ideas, including doing chores, assisting the elderly, creating art to sell, pet walking and grooming, and even inventing products to sell! What a creative group of kids! On Sunday afternoon, a group of the girls got together and made a hot cocoa stand, raising $13.00. Way to go!
The children also thought of having a bake sale after church, so on Sunday, March 21st, we will have a special performance by the kids during the 10:30 a.m. service, involving singing, a skit, and more! Then after church, we will have a bake sale. Our missionettes groups will be involved in the baking, and one of our Sunday school classes will be creating other products to sell. All proceeds will go to BGMC and be used to help people all around the world with God's love. It's a day you won't want to miss!
